This Is What Happened At Ghost Town’s WEIRD Reading Festival Set

Ghost Town at Reading Festival? This is what we saw.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
We know enough by now to expect a curveball from this band every so often, but a cover of Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name Of' is a welcome (if insane) surprise that gets The Pit stage crowd off their feet early on.

THE PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THIS BAND REALLY, REALLY CARE
It's always going to happen with love-'em-or-hate-'em bands like Ghost Town, but while the tent isn't anywhere near full this afternoon, it's clear that Kevin, Alix and Manny mean everything to many in attendance.

The big, fist-pumping singalong on 'You're So Creepy' alone is testament to that.

THE REVOLUTION IS ON HOLD... BUT ONLY FOR NOW
Though the crowd is a little sparse, the conviction that the trio deliver songs like 'Evolution' with borders on breathtaking.

They sing about "Starting a revolution," and while it may not come today, it feels like Ghost Town are never, ever going to stop trying to make one happen.
