The Safety Fire - Sections

The Safety Fire - Sections Cover

Vehicled forward with propulsion and brute force...

Committed to complex, technical prog-metal, Sections sees The Safety Fire channel their penchant for raggedy vocals and Between The Buried And Me machine gun aggression into an appealingly scruffy sound offset with the precision of slicing guitars. Opener ‘Sections’ features Martin Goulding (Linear Sphere) and Pin (Sikth) playing guitar solos, but it’s ‘Spoilage’ which stands out vehicled forward with propulsion and brute force. TSF are better in span to many of their contemporaries with both the power and technical know how in which to utilize hateful atmospherics at the drop of the hat. It’s enough to propel them kicking and screaming into 2010. Sweet!
