Sucioperro - The Heart String And How To Pull It

Sometimes the vocals sound a bit bored…

This, the third full-length from Scottish rockers Sucioperro, is a bit different to 09’s ‘Pain Agency’ – those of you that enjoyed the darker, brooding sound of yesteryear might not like this one quite so much. Not wanting to tread previously trodden ground and in order to “take risks and progress” (according to frontman JP Reid), ‘The Heart String…’ is a much more up-tempo and allround pleasant album, with catchy choruses and memorable guitar hooks throughout. ‘Reflexes Of The Dead’, if recorded by Biffy Clyro, could be a massive radio smash. The only problem here? Sometimes the vocals sound a bit bored…
