Big-balls Dan Lancaster production? Check? Towering anthems? Check. A guest spot from Jonny Craig? Pavilions have got it all on 'The Future's Mine To Make'.
If big single ‘Futures’ is anything to go by, Liverpool’s Pavilions needn’t worry about theirs. By managing to pack the arena-ready rock of Sleeping With Sirens beside the British clout of Mallory Knox, ‘The Future’s Mine To Make’ proves to be the exciting debut album we knew they could make. With Dan Lancaster’s (Don Broco, Lower Than Atlantis) watertight production and their knack for towering melodies, there are highlights aplenty, from the shuddering choruses on ‘Moron Mountain’ to the elevating soul of ‘The Wave’, which features Jonny Craig. This is perfect ammo to wield in the big boys’ post-hardcore playing field.
