“Mayhem” As Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes Set The Pace At Reading
Frank Carter on the Reading Festival main stage? What could possibly go wrong?
FRANK CARTER IS A COILED SPRING
"I've been waiting for this moment for 17 years," beams the Watford Wolf and he strides onstage in that flowery Gucci suit.
"Three bands later and they've finally let me into the big boy stage!" he cries. Cue mayhem.
HE'S AS INSANE AS EVER
Straight into the crowd during 'Juggernaut?' Sure. Even in what seems like 1 million degree heat it already feels as if Frank is burning the place down.
Oh, and he's started a circle pit that stretches all the way around the sound desk. Before 2pm. Textbook.
"That was a fucking stupid idea," says Frank.

That may be, but that was COOL.
THERE'S NEW MATERIAL ON THE WAY
With a sultry rendition of 'Snake Eyes' showing the subtler side he's developed over the years, Frank announces we can expect a new album in January of next year.
On the basis of this performance, it will be as incendiary as he's ever been.
