MAX RAPTOR - ‘MAX RAPTOR’ Cover

"This goes hard and shines bright."

Ripping away on the UK punk scene for what feels like years now, Max Raptor’s self-titled second full-length fully ups the ante on the foundations they’ve laid.

‘Old Romantics’ is like a (very) British take on the barbed and violent, but undeniable melodies of The Bronx, while ‘Torch Led’ rushes back memories of Frank Turner’s venomous, tongue-twisting time in Million Dead and traces of early Lower Than Atlantis weave throughout ‘Big Divide’ and ‘Relic’. Yet there is enough unique charm here for this to demand your attention in its own right. In a safe musical environment, this goes hard and shines bright.
