Martin Grech - March Of The Lonely Cover

If 'Unholy' was the sound of Martin Grech exorcising his demons, then new album 'March Of The Lonely' is that of a young man who's at last growing into his own skin.

If 'Unholy' was the sound of Martin Grech exorcising his demons, then new album 'March Of The Lonely' is that of a young man who's at last growing into his own skin. For all its brilliant ambition, 'Unholy' was for the most part an angry and disturbing record that sent all but the converted running scared. On this however, Grech has been brave enough to peel back the noise and lay his talents bare with stripped-down acoustic ballads and folk songs that are haunting, not hateful. Contemplative, melancholy and richly poetic, it's music at its most honest and unpretentious. So, while 'March Of The Lonely' is unexpected, those who find beauty in the darker side of life will still find it utterly mesmerising.
