This album is proof of how unique Make Them Suffer are.
Otherworldly, ethereal and bone-crushingly brutal all at once? Make Them Suffer’s third album ups the ante, playing out like some kind of space odyssey by way of the moshpit – and launching the band into the sky like a solar flare.
New addition Booka Nile is integral here, blending lush keys and glitching electronics into the same mix as lead-heavy grooves and frontman Sean Harmanis’ stark lyrical jabs.
‘Fireworks’ puts that all on show to dizzying effect and ‘Uncharted’ feels hypnotic, bringing bags of atmos(h)phere to the party while still packing solid hooks.
This marks the quintet out as a truly interesting prospect.
