I Am The Avalanche - Avalanche United

After a reasonably quiet six years, Brooklyn melodi-punks I Am The Avalanche have bounced back with their eagerly-anticipated return. Former The Movielife frontman Vinnie Caruana has been through the wars and the result is a fiery, honest and raw state of affairs as he confronts his demons. Diving straight into the abyss with album opener and single ‘Holy Fuck’, sharp, melodic hooks prevail through the gloom, ramping up energy levels and providing an anthemic sky-puncher for another generation. It’s a gruff affair, yet Caruana’s trademark gritty-subject-matter-meets-treacle-thick-melodies shines throughout, and marks a welcome return for I Am The Avalanche.
