Glamour Of The Kill - After Hours Cover

Have Glamour Of The Kill managed to break the mould with their new EP? Uhm...

Last year’s full-length ‘Savages’ was no great shakes, and perhaps sensing an approaching crossroads, British glam-metallers Glamour of the Kill have enlisted a few heavyweight friends in the shape of Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix and Escape The Fate man Craig Mabbitt to lend some muscle on this new release. And it’s Jacoby-boasting track, ‘Out Of Control’, that stands out here, toning down the Bullet For My Valentine-isms in favour of something more grungy and mid-paced, with a killer chorus to boot. It’s a welcome change of tune, but not enough to raise this EP’s otherwise so-so standard.
