Framing Hanley - The Moment

Framing Hanley - The Moment Cover

Emo yowling from Kenneth Nixon and big choruses perfectly frame ‘The Moment’...

In a time when established acts are held up by young bands covering their hits, it’s surprising that Framing Hanley jump on the bandwagon. Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ isn’t an obvious single from the Nashville Tennessee five-piece – who are made from the same stock as There For Tomorrow and Evans Blue – but it’s a clever marketing ploy allowing the band to vehicle the weighty troubles of their own sound. Emo yowling from Kenneth Nixon and big choruses perfectly frame ‘The Moment’, ‘Built For Sin’ and second single ‘Hear Me Now’ probing the thickets of pain retaining accessible but unmistakably weighty emo.
