Attila At Download: “We Are A Goddamn Party Band And We Came To Fuck Shit Up”

Attila went from 0-60 really, really fast at Download on Sunday. Gav Lloyd was there to watch it happen.

ATTILA ARE NOT MESSING AROUND TODAYWith a set that starts with 'About That Life', Attila are firing on all cylinders from the second they set foot on stage and their energy doesn't let up for the duration.

PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR MINDS
The tent is absolutely packed, and while a few of the bemused faces are clearly here to avoid the crappy weather, the vast majority of people are having the time of their lives with massive circle pits, constant waves of crowd surfers and a lot of people shouting, "Suck my fuck" along with Fronz.

"FOR THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND ATTILA, WE ARE A GODDAMN PARTY BAND AND WE CAME TO FUCK SHIT UP"
Fronz' loud, bold statement sums up why so many people are here to watch Attila. They're a lot of fun, and the people down the front of the crowd are having a much better time than the po-faced guys in black metal T-shirts turning their noses up.

WE COULD BE SEEING THEM DO THIS ON THE MAIN STAGE IN THE FUTURE
Alongside all the talk of partying, Fronz also takes the time to inform the crowd that, "This may be Attila's first time at Download but it won't be their last. The only difference is next time we'll be playing the big stage."

It's easy for people to make fun of this band, but the haters are definitely in the minority today and given the strength of this performance, seeing this lot climb the ranks at Download would be very welcome.
