How mad is that?

The wait is finally over and Weezer's long-awaited record 'Van Weezer' is out in the world.

And on top of that, it's probably set to be a career first for the band.

According to the midweek UK chart update, it is sitting pretty at No.10. It would be the band's very first to enter the top ten.

Their previous highest-charting record was 2005's 'Make Believe' which peaked at No.11.

They currently have seven albums which have charted in the Top 40, with 95’s ‘Blue Album’ peaking at 23, 2001’s ‘Green Album’ at 31, 2002’s ‘Maladroit’ at 16, 2008’s ‘Red Album’ at 21, 2014’s ‘Everything Will Be Alright In the End’ at 37 and 2016’s ‘White Album’ at 24.

So, let's see if it can get higher.

Here's 'Hero':

In other Weezer news, the band are set to release one more piece of their 'OK Human' puzzle, the album they surprise-released in January.

They are set to drop a new version of 'All My Favourite Songs' which features AJR on Wednesday (May 12).

Here's how the original sounds:
