'Kings Of The New Age' is OUT NOW!

State Champs
have just released their brand new album 'Kings Of The New Age', and it is jam-packed with summer anthems, heartfelt love songs and plenty of big pop-punk energy.

It also features some absolutely class collaborations, one that they have released a video for.

That's 'Act Like That', a sweet and sublime piece of pristine pop-rock that also features an appearance from country star Mitchell Tenpenny.

And Mitchell absolutely brings it, adding his own insane style to the track, and the video.

Vocalist Derek DiScanio had this to say about it:

“’Act Like That’ is the most ‘out of the box’ song for us on the album. We had a lot of fun experimenting with some poppier elements, but it was challenging at first to bring the right level of SC energy to level it out. We hit a moment in the studio when we definitely found that balance, and we’re very excited to share this dance-y, rockin’, lyrically dynamic love song that makes you wanna jump around.”

And Mitchell had this to add:

“For sure one of the craziest videos I’ve ever been a part of!! I grew up playing and loving this style of music. I’ve been a fan of State Champs for a minute now, so it was a no brainer when I heard the song! I love rock music so much!”

You can check out the band going face to face with Mitchell in a selection of games, and getting jumped over by dirt bikes, below:

And because it is probably the pop-punk song of the year, here's 'Everybody But You':

We chatted to Derek all about the album via Video Call, which you can check out below:

And we have a special vinyl colourway of the album available via Rock Sound Records, which you can pick up from right HERE
