Before they were playing arenas, they played the Wheatsheaf Pub in Stoke-on-Trent.
Sometimes it's hard to contextualise that some of the biggest bands in our world used to play some of the smallest venues in the UK.
Now, Green Day have been a band since 1986 (that's 32 years) so it stands to reason that literal decades ago, they were probably playing some smaller rooms.
A video has surfaced online of Green Day playing the Wheatsheaf Pub in Stoke-on-Trent back in 1991, only five days following the release of 'Kerplunk'.
The video may look like it was filmed on a toaster, but it's full of charm.
