There's music industry advice and poop this month.
Pierce The Veil's Vic Fuentes writes an advice column for Rock Sound every month. Sometimes it's insightful, sometimes it's weird, but it's always interesting.
Here's a taste of this month's column.
I ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE MY OWN RECORD LABEL, BUT IT FEELS LIKE THE WHOLE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS ON ITS KNEES. DO YOU THINK STARTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN 2016 IS TOO DIFFICULT?
ZOE "I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all. You just have to turn up your creativity these days to run a successful record label, because nothing is like it was before. The way that we create and listen to music is changing so rapidly that the industry is constantly trying to keep up and adjust. This doesn’t mean that the industry is on its knees; it’s just in a transitional period.
"If you want to be involved, I suggest that you dive in with an open mind and a lot of new ideas. Good luck Zoe!"
I RECENTLY BLOCKED THE DRAINS IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD WITH MY CRAP. I’M NOT KIDDING. NOW I FEEL LIKE MY NEIGHBOURS ARE ALL JUDGING ME.
