Thy Art Is Murder: “We Don’t Need Any More Shade, We Made Our Own”

Nicely done.

Thy Art Is Murder have released some provocative new merch.

After Eddie Hermida of Suicide Silence criticised the band for "[Saying] 'oh yeah we’re gonna save deathcore,' and [writing] the same song they wrote on their last record," TAIM are promising to Make America Deathcore Again.

Their new hat design is clearly a dig at President Trump's infamous campaign slogan Make America Great Again, but is it a coincidence they've revealed it so shortly after Eddie made his comments? Well...

...Probably not, no.

Fair play, guys.

Thy Art Is Murder frontman CJ McMahon recently returned to the band.

"You made me a rockstar, you made me a God, you made me immortal, I owe my fans everything," he wrote to fans. "I made myself a drug addict, I made myself a liar, I made myself lose and destroy friendships, I made my family and friends hurt."

"I come back to the world a new man whom with my closest friends ( Thy Art Is Murder ) will prove that we are the greatest, strongest, and most powerful force in Metal, I will take no prisoners, we will crush all charts and expectations."

They'll appear at this year's Impericon Festival, which will take place on April 17, 2017 at Manchester Academy. Miss May IBeing As An OceanIn Hearts Wake and more will join them.
