This New Wars Track Is An Absolute Ripper

The video for 'Weathered Eyes' is here, and it's heavy.

That was the new track from Rugby hardcore lads Wars. Quite something, eh?

"'Weathered Eyes' tackles the sense of inertia that comes from knowing you are a distorted reflection of your environment," says vocalist Rob Vicars. "You can only see things through a lens filtered by everything you have experienced, wrought with too much thinking; a realisation that leaves you feeling like a broken machine. It's another example of the kind of personal subjects we want to talk about, and we're super excited to be getting the song out there ahead of the EP launch."

The track is taken from their forthcoming debut EP 'And So The Sea Will Claim Us All,' which is set to drop on May 18.

The tracklisting looks a little like this:

1. Gambler’s Ruin
2. Eight on the Ballantine Scale
3. Weathered Eyes
4. The Leviathan and the Liar
5. 00:01
