Phwoar, what a week. Slipknot announced their new album, Bring Me The Horizon revealed the best support line-up ever (although Architects came close, too) and Reading & Leeds brought the curtain down on Festy Season 2014. Here's some of the small stuff you might have missed.
The week began with Labour MP Ed Balls declaring his love for Paramore.
Worth watching Paramore at Reading/Leeds on BBC3 - Hayley Williams is staggeringly energetic...— Ed Balls (@edballsmp) August 22, 2014
Which is... cool.
Ex-Sleeping With Sirens man Jesse Lawson made very little sense on the internet.
(Caption reads: "Original since 1966.. But, was born in '89")
Neck Deep revealed West's inner emo...
...then they got a bit sassy.
Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce found enough time between smoking cigarettes in slow motion to... celebrate his goat's birthday?
In other news, BEN BRUCE HAS A GOAT?!
Telle from The Word Alive's dog managed to take a selfie.
Which is, y'know, impressive.
While Ken and Hiro Crossfaith got cosy with Hundred Reasons man Colin Doran.
Elsewhere, Blitz Kids' Jono Yates bumped into a local football legend down Sainos.
Just bumped into Dario Gradi in Sainsbury's. Legend. pic.twitter.com/iyniTthk1M— Jono Yates (@jonoBLITZ) August 26, 2014
Don Broco's Rob Damiani got totally fabulous at Leeds Festival.
Twin Atlantic man Sam McTrusty went shopping for golf gear and thus became Sam McGOLFY forevermore.
Ashton from 5 Seconds Of Summer lived up to the STRAYA, MATE cliches.
Txt from mum : "hey ash, there's a kangaroo on the front lawn, the kids are scared" cliche Australian life back at home lol— Ashton Irwin (@Ashton5SOS) August 27, 2014
While We Came As Romans man Joshua Moore reminisced about that time he hung out with a kangaroo / wallaby (WE JUST DON'T KNOW)
Aaaaand Matty Mullins' dog made another slow-motion appearance on the internet. This one's a little bit more PG, thanfully.
Blink-182 man Tom Delonge spent an evening chasing little green men. Possibly.
And finally, Zac Man Overboard stumbled across some classic lyrical inspiration.
This song is basically an ode to this one pair of cargo shorts ive had since 2006— Zac Eisenstein (@ZacOvrboard) August 29, 2014
Big week, eh? We'll be back on Monday for more actual news. Promise.
