Chad and Jordan joined us on the Rock Sound Podcast to reveal the story...

CHAD: "Y'know it's funny I remember being on tour forever ago, opening for Green Day [in the UK] and Neil Avron, the producer, hit me up and was like, 'Hey, I'm working with this band on their full-length called... Fall Out Boy and they really really want you to scream on the record, they love 'Sticks And Stones'! And I was like, 'Fall Out Boy? Oh yeah I heard about their EP!'

So I was like, 'Yeah cool I'll do it,' and Pete also came from like a hardcore thing so they wanted me to scream on it. So we got the track..."

JORDAN: "Didn't you do it in the dressing room?"

CHAD: "Yeah, in the dressing room! So that bit, 'Can't cover it up - CAN"T COVER IT UP!' - that extra scream wasn't there! We just did it, they only wanted me to scream the bridge part and then when I heard it, I was like, 'Let's add this call and answer thing' so we threw that in there and sent it back.

So it's cool to think that our little thing has influenced - and that record obviously has sold millions of copies!"
