8123 Fest
, the festival set up by The Maine, was set to take place in March 2021.

Though because of the current state of the world, that will not be possible at this time. So the band have announced that the dates have moved.

The event will now take place between January 19-24 2022.

You can read a statement, that was sent out to ticket holders, below:

"To the 8123 Family,

We, like you, have been paying close attention to the COVID-19 pandemic and have remained hopeful throughout the summer that 8123 Fest would be able to proceed as planned in 2021. Our first priority has, and always will be to deliver you a safe festival experience. That, said, with the current state of the world, it is not possible to move forward with 8123 Fest in March.

We want to wait and hold the festival at a time when we can ensure that it is deemed safe to do so by health officials, and when you will feel comfortable joining us in Arizona for 8123 Fest. In previous years, many of you have traveled from out of town to be here - and we do not want to put you at risk in your travel plans.

That being said, we are so excited to announce that 8123 Fest will officially be held in January to commemorate The Maine’s 15th anniversary as a band. The official festival date is January 22, with festival events taking place January 19-24. We know it is still a long ways away, but we are committed to using this extra time to give you the best possible festival experience.

For those of you who have and continue to hang onto your tickets - we are planning something very special for you to take place in the new year! Stay tuned for more details on that.

We can’t wait to be back (when it’s safe) to do this thing with you bigger and better than before. We’ll see you in the desert.

Love,

The Maine & The 8123 Fest Team"

Until then, there's loads of footage that you can watch from last year's festival, including the band playing their debut album 'Can't Stop, Won't Stop' in full:
