"Lots of you might be disappointed and we are too but we aren't quite fit for the stage yet."

The Ghost Inside have revealed that they will not be playing the final cross country run of Vans Warped Tour.

In a string of tweets, the band revealed that they "aren't quite fit for the stage yet" but thanked founder Kevin Lyman "for the opportunity to be a part of two warped tours."

"The final Warped Tour summer lineup was announced today and we won't be a part of it. Lots of you might be disappointed and we are too but we aren't quite fit for the stage yet.

BUT. The lineup is stacked. So many of our friends, bands we've toured with, band we listen to. Kevin Lyman is sending it off in style. We couldn't thank him enough in a hundred summers for the opportunity to be a part of two warped tours.

The ultimate honour of our career so far was having the opportunity to represent Epitaph Records on the main stage of Warped '14. Far beyond the wilest dreams of a little hardcore band from SoCal."

Back in 2016 Kevin Lyman confirmed the band for the 2017 line-up in truly heartwarming fashion.

Yet the band have always been very open about their recovery after their horrific bus crash back in 2015.

They posted this message on their Facebook back in April of last year:

"You guys haven't forgotten about us, have you?

"We don't have a time when we're gonna be able to play again, but we all still think about it every day. We miss it and we miss you guys. Looking for the light at the end of this long tunnel."

As always, we wish the band the very best.
