The Fall Of Troy have spoken to Rock Sound about their disappointment at having to pull out of October’s Eastpak Antidote Tour.
“We just plain and simply did not have the funding to do it,” revealed frontman Thomas Erak. “We hadn’t been on tour for like a year and we didn’t have a record out. We needed to stay at home and push for our new record and make some money before we go over there, y’know, so we could support ourselves.”
Speaking ahead of the release of the band’s upcoming album, ‘In The Unlikely Event’, Erak continued to explain that the decision wasn’t entirely in the band’s hands.
“It wasn’t our fault. We fought to go, but it was more our management – people like that were telling us that we needed to stay home.”
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to see them, as the band will be hitting our shores for their own headline tour in November. The album ‘In The Unlikely Event’ is out on October 26 on Equal Vision.
