What an album. What an achievement.

Slipknot's
2004 album 'Vol 3 (The Subliminal Verses)' has hit Platinum certification in the UK.

That's the equivalent of 300,000 sales, which is a hefty bunch.

It's the third of the band's albums to reach Platinum, with their debut 'Slipknot' hitting it back in 2008 and their sophomore effort 'Iowa' hitting it back in 2018.

'The Gray Chapter' and 'All Hope Is Gone' are both currently Gold and last year's 'We Are Not Your Kind' is sitting pretty at Silver.

The album features two songs that have their own levels of certification.

They are 'Duality' which is currently Gold:

And 'Before I Forget' which is currently Silver:

But let's use this occasion to look at some of the other singles that this classic album spawned.

You've got 'Vermillion'

And 'Vermillion Part 2'

And not forgetting 'The Nameless':
