This could be their first number one album in 18 years.
Slipknot look to be hading towards their second UK number one album, if the mid-week album charts are anything to go by.
Overnight, the UK chart body posted their weekly update which measures how the charts are tracking based on sales and streaming data for the week-to-date, and Slipknot have dethroned Ed Sheeran's 'No. 6 Collaborations Project' which has been holding on to the top spot for five weeks.
If Slipknot manage to hold their lead, 'We Are Not Your Kind' will be the band's second number one debut, and their first in 18 years. It'll be following in the footsteps of their 2001 album 'Iowa', which spent 12 weeks in the chart, after debuting at number one.
So if you haven't already, maybe pick up a copy of 'We Are Not Your Kind', and help Slipknot hang on to that number one spot.
