This past Friday, a day known as 'Rise Against Day' in Chicago, Rise Against released their 9th album 'Nowhere Generation'.
A fast, thrilling and thoroughly vital record for these confusing and troubled times, it's a collection of songs made to shine a light on the forgotten and ignite a fire in the bellies of all those who hear it.
On top of all of that, it is also on course to achieve something that the band never have before.
According to the midweek UK chart update, the record is sitting at No.06. If it stays there it will become the band's first-ever Top Ten record.
Their previous highest-charting album in the UK was 2014's 'The Black Market' which peaked at No.13. They have achieved two other Top 40 albums, in '17's 'Wolves which peaked at No.38 and 11's 'Endgame' at 27.
