Bassist Tim Commerford has beef with Bizkit.

Rage Against The Machine bassist Tim Commerford has apologised for his band's influence on Limp Bizkit.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said:

"I do apologize for Limp Bizkit. I really do. I feel really bad that we inspired such bullshit."

"They're gone, though. That's the beautiful thing. There's only one left, and that's Rage, and as far as I'm concerned, we're the only one that matters."

Limp Bizkit are of course still alive and kicking, but have yet to respond.

This isn't the first time that Tim has taken a shot at Fred Durst and Co..

Back in 2000 RATM missed out on the MTV VMA 'Best Rock Video' award, with 'Bizkit and 'Break Stuff' pipping them to the post.

Tim responded by invading the stage - years before Kanye, y'know - and swinging on a giant backdrop, before being collared by security.

You can relive that below.
