"We hope this track digs deep into your brain and burns out your eyes"

Phoxjaw
are back with their first new music since 2020 and continue to be twelve steps ahead of everyone else.

The song they've dropped is called 'Sungazer' and is a summer anthem but not are you know.

Brimming with poetic worship, off-kilter fret tapping and riffs that feel like the world going up in flames, it's fascinating, frantic and utterly fantastic.

The band had this to say about it all:

"The sun is quite literally gonna burn us all one day, you can take that in two directions, a super nihilistic view on things served with a smile, or as an opportunity to hold the things you love close and cherish them. With very pagan-esque themes, the bouncing and upbeat track takes bi-polar twists and turns into something darker and heavier, whilst still preserving the same chaotic Phoxjaw energy presented on previous releases. We hope this track digs deep into your brain and burns out your eyes."

Here it is, alongside a twist-and-turn-filled video:

The band are going to be hitting the road as support for Blood Command later this year.
