Brendon Urie reveals that he was originally offered this showstopping number by the movie musical's songwriters.

Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie has revealed that he almost recorded a song from movie musical 'The Greatest Showman'.

Speaking in a new interview with BBC Radio 1, the singer was talking about his love of musical theatre and his recent Broadway run in 'Kinky Boots' when the subject of the Hugh Jackman-starring movie came up:

"I talked to Benj and Justin who did the score for that and they actually sent me the song ('The Greatest Show') and they were like 'hey can this be a Panic! song?'. And I was like absolutely! And then it just didn't make sense. We didn't finally get a finished product. So then the movie came out and I was like 'Oh, it would have been fun to be a part of'. But either way I wanna do something like that in the future. It would be great right? A Panic! movie or something."

Yes please Brendon!

Plus, in addition to his 'Live Lounge' cover of Dua Lipa's 'IDGAF', Brendon also did give us all a little blast of 'The Greatest Show' so we could all think about what might have been.
