Could the 'Pray For The Wicked' track be their biggest song yet?
Congratulations are in order as Panic! At The Disco have just scored their biggest US chart hit in over twelve years.
'High Hopes' has now jumped up to No.8 in this week's Billboard Hot 100 singles chart which combines streaming, radio airplay and digital sales. This is the first time Panic! have cracked the top 10 since 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' which reached No.7 in August 2006. The gap between the two tracks is the longest since Prince returned to the top 10 following his death in 2016 after a break of 21 years, 11 months and two weeks.
If it continues its current trajectory, 'High Hopes' could well become Panic!'s biggest US hit ever! The song is also currently No.1 on the Hot Rock Songs and Alternative Songs charts and is sitting at No.4 on both the Pop Songs and Adult Pop Songs charts.
Basically, 'High Hopes' was an incredibly appropriate title for this one!
Panic! At The Disco will return to the UK this March as part of their 'Pray For The Wicked' world tour.
