This is pretty special.

MAX (formerly Max Schneider) has released a re-recorded, reimagined version of 'Lights Down Low' off his 2016 album 'Hell's Kitchen Angel', featuring ONE OK ROCK frontman Taka Moriuchi.

The reimagined version features Taka taking on vocal duties for the first verse of the track, singing the lyrics in Japanese.

The pair reportedly met in New York in 2016, when ONE OK ROCK were supporting ISSUES on their headline tour. From their, their friendship flourished - and ultimately led to Taka lending his vocals to this special version of 'Lights Down Low.

Speaking to Billboard Japan about the collaboration, MAX shared "Taka is singing in Japanese this time, and it's amazing. I think he has one of the most beautiful voices in the world. Taka has interpreted my original message into Japanese, so when I listen to it while thinking about his feelings, it seems to be the most special version ever... I'm looking forward to what everyone in Japan thinks."
