WATCH: Andrew Lloyd Webber Praises My Chemical Romance’s ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’
Yes, you read that correctly.
Legendary muscials composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has praised the music of My Chemical Romance in a post on social media today (October 29).
ALW, who of course wrote the likes of 'Phantom Of The Opera', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Cats' among others, responded to a comment from MCR fan @sophieannelane who said they were "still fuming that The Black Parade hasn’t been made into some incredible goth musical."
Lloyd Webber said that "It's one thing to create an iconic set of chords, it's another to make one note iconic?" alongside a short video that saw him demonstrate just how effective it really is:

Did Andrew Lloyd Webber just G-note the internet? Yes. Yes he did.
So far band members Frank Iero and Ray Toro have both posted some emoji based reactions to the video on social media, clearly delighted by this unexpected shout out.

One My Chemical Romance fan actually wrote their own treatment for a potential musical based around 'The Black Parade' album which went viral last week.
Who knows if we may ever see the album brought to life on stage but, in the meantime, why don't we watch the iconic 'The Black Parade Is Dead' performance, just one more time...
