The Linkin Park star took to the stage at KROQ's annual Weenie Roast festival for an emotionally-charged set featuring material from forthcoming album 'Post Traumatic'.
Mike Shinoda returned to the live stage this weekend, playing his first solo shows since the death of his Linkin Park bandmate Chester Bennington last year.
Shinoda, who's new album 'Post Traumatic' is due for release this June, performed at LA radio station KROQ's annual Weenie Roast event on Saturday (May 12th), joining the likes of Blink-182, Panic! At The Disco and Thirty Seconds To Mars on the one-day festival lineup.
His set included a perfect tribute to Chester - a slowed-down, piano-heavy version of 'Hybrid Theory'-classic 'In The End' which, according to Shinoda, was how the song was originally intended to be performed.

In fact, it was a busy weekend for Mike as he also headlined the Identity Festival on Sunday (May 13th), a free event in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
'Post Traumatic' is out on June 15th and features collaborations with blackbear, Machine Gun Kelly, Chino Moreno of Deftones, K.Flay and grandson.
