Album two is on the way.

Who wants a new Marmozets  album this year? Yeah, us too! We chat new music, new tours and more with vocalist Becca MacIntrye in our new magazine.

Here's a taste...

IS THERE A NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY?
"We’ve been writing, but we’ve not got to the point of deciding who we’re going to work with. We’ve had a bunch of names and ideas – it’s such a hard thing to choose because we want it to go right. But me and Sam got together the other day and did some writing in my little 12-year-old sister’s room. It’s an exciting process to get back into again, writing and just creating something special with my boys.

"
It’s energetic, it’s fun and maybe a little bit more rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s definitely Marmozets. I don’t know how to describe it, but it just feels right. We’re not trying to sound like other bands or do what other people have done. It’s naturally coming together and we’re just writing the songs we want to write."

WILL THERE BE MORE SHOWS?
"As soon as the album is out we’ll be back on the road again, that’s the plan. Get the album out and keep bloody touring. Tour the shit out of the world and just pray that we get the opportunities we did last year. We want our shows to get bigger and better, whether that means a bunch of backing dancers or whatever, it’s just about having fun.

"Festivals have given us the confidence to go a bit more extreme with it. If you’re having fun onstage, everyone else will have fun."
