Mark Hoppus: New Blink-182 Sounds Like “Where Take Off Your Pants And Jacket Left Off”

Where's the tree? Because this is CHRISTMAS.

It was only a few weeks ago that we were made aware of the fact that Blink-182 were in the studio, working on their new album. Over the weekend, outspoken king of twitter (and Blink frontman) Mark Hoppus took to twitter to build hype for the new album in what is just about the perfect way.

Rejoice, fans who insist that "the best Blink-182 album was 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' and I don't listen to anything after that", because your prayers have been answered. According to Hoppus, the new album sounds like "where 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' left off".

A pretty big call, but we look forward to seeing how accurate Hoppus' statement is.

The band also recently announced a Las Vegas residency, kicking off May 26.

"We just have to cast our show girls, create our set list – a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace," they commented.

"Maybe we can even marry someone on stage…The possibilities in Vegas are endless.”
