MAN WITH A MISSION's Jean-Key Johnny has spoken about what it was like working with Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.
In our recent Video Call with Jean-Key, he mentioned what it was like putting together the band's single 'Dead End In Tokyo':
"He is frontman of one of the hugest bands of the 21st century. The way we made that song was really interesting. He really focused on the lyrics. As a band coming from Japan, he wanted the lyrics to sound like a band who have come from Japan but are also persuasive all over the world as well.
We love the title ‘Dead End In Tokyo’ because its speaks a lot about what is inside Tokyo but also what life is about and what making your dreams are about and what winning and losing is about. It was really amazing talking and working with him."
He then spoke about what it was like performing with Patrick on their other track '86 Missed Calls' at Summer Sonic:
"It was really amazing. Summer Sonic it was really hot so he came out in an outfit like he was on vacation. Really rock star and I love that. As soon as he hits the stage he is absolutely amazing. It was really a great moment for us sharing the stage with him."
MAN WITH A MISSION have released three albums this year, a B-sides record, a remix record and a greatest hits record.
They are also working on a new documentary called MAN WITH A MISSION: THE MOVIE -TRACE THE HISTORY on August 19.
