"U know the next song slaps even harder and that they’ll 100% hate it even more" - Lynn Gunn.

It's been less than a week since PVRIS released their brand new single 'Death Of Me', but it's been quick to pick up criticism for leaning "too pop".

In a post on Instagram, PVRIS frontwoman Lynn Gunn shared "face when the haters say it’s “too pop” and u know the next song slaps even harder and that they’ll 100% hate it even more and u literally don’t know what to tell ‘em".

She went back and edited her original post shortly after, adding "EDIT bc I think everyone took this way out of context and thinks I’m actually upset about the very few negative comments, this was meant to poke fun and is me genuinely finding it funny! But y’all are sweet for the kind words, they really are noticed and appreciated."
