Lostprophets’ Vocalist Ian Watkins Pleads Guilty To Child Sex Offences

According to various media outlets the singer pleads guilty to a series of child sex offences including the attempted rape of a baby.

It is being widely reported this afternoon that Lostprophets' vocalist Ian Watkins has pleaded guilty to a number of charges put to him at Cardiff Crown Court today.

The prosecuting barrister Chris Clee QC told the court that Watkins "was a determined and committed paedophile." Outside the court, the BBC reports that Detective Chief Inspector Peter Doyle from South Wales Police said: "This investigation has uncovered the most shocking and harrowing child abuse evidence I have ever seen."
