Enjoy it from the comfort of home.

We may still not be back in gig venues yet but now we are getting a little bit closer...

Melody VR and Live Nation have today (July 08) announced a new partnership to produce a series of virtual concerts from London's legendary O2 Academy Brixton.

The venue was established in 1983 and has played host to so many huge names; In recent years, it is where Twenty One Pilots held their 'A Complete Diversion' show that launched their 'Trench' era, You Me At Six performed 'Take Off Your Colours' in full and Lower Than Atlantis played their final ever performance.

Each show will be developed with the artist teams and, according to MusicWeek, "Fans will be able to select the vantage point from which they watch, from multiple spots within the venue and on stage with the artists themselves. Performances will be available in 360° and virtual reality on the MelodyVR app for anyone with a smartphone or an Oculus VR device."

Tickets will be available for purchase via Ticketmaster with a full lineup of artists expected to be announced soon.

So, while we wait, lets throwback to Yungblud's huge headline show at the venue last year:
