They just keep on dealing out the goods.
Mayday Parade have followed up their recent album 'What It Means To Fall Apart' with a brand new track.
And it is amazing how they are able to change gears so effortlessly.
The song is called 'Losing My Mind' and is a low-key ballad of sorts, but one that bristles with an indulgent pop sensibility.
It's heartbroken but hopeful, vulnerable but vibrant. All of the things that make Mayday Parade who they are.
And to hear them finding new ways to express their emotions whilst also never losing any of their identity is so lovely.
As drummer Jake Bundrick says:
“‘Losing My Mind’ is about being alone and missing the one that got away.”
