Goldfinger have released their first new music since '17's 'The Knife' and it's an absolute banger.
Written by John Feldmann as an ode to his wife, 'Wallflower' is a classic slice of Goldfinger goodness with fast riffs and jubilent horns clashing with heartfelt sentiments.
Here's what John had to say about it:
“This song is written for my wife who is truly everything to me. Until she found her place in LA, she was a bit of a wallflower, but she was always with me. I also have an emotional attachment to the film ‘Perks of Being A Wallflower’, so combining that art with our classic Space Girl imagery seemed like it tied it all together.”
Basically, it's great. So have a listen:
And if you haven't seen, the band have also been sharing quarantine-based versions of some of their tracks.
