LISTEN: Frank Turner’s ‘A Wave Across A Bay’, His Tribute To Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison
"It was hard to write and record, but I think it does the man some small justice"
Frank Turner has released another track from his upcoming new album 'FTHC', and it is a raw, beautiful and vital one.
It's called 'A Wave Across A Bay' and is a tribute to Frightened Rabbit's Scott Hutchison who passed away in 2018. It's a personal and poignant account of the pair's last conversations and encounters and a deeply moving homage to a man and an artist that meant the world to so many and to Frank.
Frank had this to say:
"I still miss my friend Scott every day. His passing left such a huge hole in so many lives. I wrote this song in his honour and memory, it was hard to write and record, but I think it does the man some small justice."
And you can also hear a live and raw version of it right here:
'FTHC' is set to drop on February 11 via Xtra Mile Recordings.
It will also feature 'Miranda':
