Discomforting. Dissonant. Devilish.
Slipknot's Shawn 'Clown' Crahan has shared four pieces of music under the moniker of Brainwash Love.
Posted from a YouTube account called 'Live Your Life', the music showcases Shawn's endless experiments in the textures and emotions of electronic music.
First there is 'Death Inside', a delicately pattering composition that builds and builds into raw chaos:
Then there is 'Feeds The Worms Birds', a dissonant blend of throbbing synths and dark guitars:
Then there's 'Suction', a deafening buzzsaw of an interlude that sounds like your very worst nightmare:
And finally 'Dreaming', a twinkling minute-long break from the darkness of the previous three offerings:
So, what's going on? Are we heading towards a bigger project? Do the three songs have anything to do with whatever Slipknot are working on? We will keep you posted with some answers when we have them.
