Pure pop-punk brilliance.

Chief State are gearing up to release their full-length debut 'Waiting For Your Colours', and have shared a new taster.

And it is as quintessential as it gets.

It's called 'Out For Me' and is everything you could want from a bright and breezy pop-punk opus. Reflective, punishing and perfectly stained by the summer sun, the band deal it out thick and fast and will have your pinning your heart to your sleeve instantly.

Here it is:

'Waiting For Your Colours' is set for release on July 01 via Mutant League Records.

Vocalist Fraser Simpson had this to say about the record:

"There’s definitely a coming of age theme on the new album. We're asking ourselves: What am I looking to get out of life, out of being in a band? What joys do I want to pursue and where do I want to place my energy moving forward? We've come to the realization that we all need to stress less on the things we can’t control and enjoy more of what we have, what we can control and the journey itself."

The artwork looks like this:
