Carnifex have released a brand new song, and there is a lot to take in.
It's called 'Seven Souls' and feels like a manifesto of sorts for what the band are capable of in 2021. One minute thick with old school death metal riffing, the next littered with symphonic undertones. Though the thing that holds it all together is sheer brute force and plenty of utterly disgusting breakdowns.
The band had this to say about what the tune means to them:
"'Seven Souls' is a continuation in the reintroduction of CARNIFEX to the world. The first steps on a journey into the interior.”
