Pure Noise Records, you've done it again.

You know when you want to concentrate and work on something, but all of the music that you want to play is too loud, aggressive, bouncy and distracting?

That's where the lo-fi genre come in. Delicate, comforting and peaceful in all the right ways to focus your mind and inspire your creativity.

But have you ever wondered what it would sound like if you could combine lo-fi music with your favourite bands?

The incredible Pure Noise Records have made such a thing a reality.

Collaborating with beatmakers Mik and Less Gravity, the label have given some of their roster the chill-out treatment.

For example, here's the beautiful Clairvoyant by The Story So Far, but even more beautiful than you ever thought possible:

Here's State Champs' classic banger 'Elevated' but presented via the medium of sullen guitars and gorgeous keys:

Here's Knocked Loose's 'Mistakes Like Fractures' transformed from a hardcore bruiser to a woozy soundscape:

And here's Seaway's 'Mrs. David' sounding all the more soft and silken:

It doesn't get much better than this does it?

You can check out all the tracks, including the likes of The Amity Affliction, Bearings, Four Year Strong, Spanish Love Songs and loads more below:
