We're throwing back.

Inside The Faim issue of Rock Sound, we dive into You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi's 'firsts' - the first song he wrote, first band he ever met and so much more. Pick up your copy right now from SHOP.ROCKSOUND.TV

As part of his 'firsts', we asked Josh what the first song he wrote for You Me At Six was.

“The first song that I ever wrote, that we actually used, was called ‘You Know I Love To Dance’. I was just going through a phase where I really liked bands on Drive-Thru Records, so it probably sounded like a massive rip-off of The Early November," Josh shared. "I think we put it on an EP so people definitely heard it. We handmade about 200 CDs and just gave them out at shows. You just wanted people to be able to hear your band so you would burn what were basically mixtapes and give them out wherever you could. That was how that whole generation of MySpace bands did things.”

So, uh... Has anyone got a copy of that bad boy lying around anywhere?

This is just a tiny taster - read all of Josh Franceschi's 'Firsts' inside this month's issue of Rock Sound. Pick up your copy below:
