17.39 Josh's wife posted the following update on her blog (which also links to the original statement):
"I assure you that my blog and joshs blog are real. I'm not sure how I'd prove that? Clearly my blog is real by reading my stories and personal photos that are posted. So, why would I post a fake link to Joshs blog?
Furthermore, you wanted an explanation from Josh. Stop complaining about it. You don't have to take sides. It is what it is. The music doesn't change, and that's what fans are here for, right? Paramore is continuing on and maybe someday the Farro's will have more music too.everyone is happier this way and that's the bottom line."
17.08 According to Alt Press, the blog is legitimate and was penned by Josh.
14.01 As internet speculation continues to rage Rock Sound asked Paramore's management for a statement regarding the validity and authenticity of this link, comment was declined.
A lengthy blog appeared online purporting to be from Josh Farro detailing the (many and brutally frank) reasons he and his brother Zac decided to leave Paramore.
Unsurprisingly sources close to the band claimed the statement was fake so we removed the link from our site. As the day progressed the story became less clear so we started running updates at the top of the article as new information on the situation came to light. In a recent turn of events Josh has posted a video online confirming that he wrote the blog, as of yet there has been no comment to counter the article from the band.
