There's also an update on his touring plans.

It looks like Mike Shinoda has a solo album on the way.

Yesterday he posted on social media, asking if people wanted to meet up in Los Angeles to be in a music video "for my solo album."

As reported by Linkin Park Live, Mike played a new song for everyone who came, but asked them not to record it.

"I love to make art and I love to make music, and one reason I get to do that is because of you guys. I am just really, really grateful for that," he said.

"I have been writing songs in the moment. As I went on, not every song was a sad song. And they've been about a lot of things. I've started to put them together and it looks like it'll be an album. It isn't an album about grief, but it starts there."

LP Live also described it as similar to Linkin Park's 'One More Light' in sound.

Mike recently released a solo EP, 'Post Traumatic'.

He's also given an update on plans for his upcoming touring.

Here are the tracks that make up 'Post Traumatic'.
