Hostages Taken At Eagles Of Death Metal Show In Paris

UPDATE 1120: The BBC now has the total of people killed in Paris at "at least" 128 people.

UPDATE 0015: The New York Times is reporting that the hostage situation is now over, and that there are "dozens" dead at the Bataclan.

UPDATE 2350: An update from Eagles Of Death Metal...

We are still currently trying to determine the safety and whereabouts of all our band and crew. Our thoughts are with all of the people involved in this tragic situation.

UPDATE 2330: The BBC is reporting that shots and explosions are being heard in an around the Bataclan.

UPDATE 2310: French band Red Lemons is reporting that they and Eagles Of Death Metal are out of the venue.

For our american and english friends, a terrorist attack happened at the Eagles of death metal concert. We are safe. Mikel Ross, Eric McFadden we were with your mates Jesse, Tuesday, the other musicians outside, they're safe too, they took a cab.


UPDATE 2250: 35 people are now thought to have been killed at the Bataclan tonight.

In case you hadn't seen, there are a number of shootings, explosions and hostage situations currently taking place in Paris, France this evening.

One of the hostage situations is reportedly taking place at the Bataclan, which a music venue where Eagles Of Death Metal were playing a show.

Various sources are reporting that there are as many as 60 to 100 hostages still inside the venue.

It is also being reported that 15 people have been killed near the venue.
